Samantha Massey was born the Warrington, England and became an immigrant to the United States when she was only four. Since then, she has spent her life pursuing a global skillset and knowledge of cross-cultural interactions and business. Now a dual citizen, she has a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs with a European/Eurasian focus and is pursuing her Masters of International Business at the University of Denver.
Katrina M. Niemisto — Marketing Director
Katrina M. Niemisto originally hails from Detroit, Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis in theatre from Grand Valley State University. After a ten year career in the arts, Katrina stumbled across the Daniels College of Business due to a consulting project with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She moved out to Denver in 2009 for an internship with the Denver Center, and in five years racked up an impressive resume of over 60 productions.
Now you can find her working for Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey as a tour guide and arguing with anyone and everyone about Detroit sports in her “free time” from the Full-Time MBA program. She’s passionate about the alcoholic beverage industry and plans on working as a marketing director and eventually as CEO for an alcoholic beverage company.
Zach Wilson — Director of Recruitment
Zach Wilson, was born and raised on a ranch in rural Eastern Oregon. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a BA in Political Science, Zach ventured east to Washington DC. During his time in Washington, Zach worked on both the legislative and campaign sides of the political field. In Zach’s last position, he managed over $30 million in digital advertising during the 2012 election cycle.
After the 2012 election cycle, Zach decided to pursue his MBA and, ultimately, a career in his family’s cattle operation. Upon leaving DC, Zach spent time in Hawaii where he worked for a business partner’s cow-calf operation. From there, Zach traveled to New Zealand to work on a multi-species farming operation. In New Zealand, Zach learned Kiwi grazing practices, sheep raising methods, and how the red deer (venison) industry operates.
Zach enjoys a good happy hour and anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, skiing, golf, you name it and he’s up for it.
Having been asked to head up the Daniels Consulting Firm’s recruiting activities, Zach is very much looking forward to building new relationships and blending the many talents of the Daniels community. Don’t be shy, come up and say howdy!
Max Kelley — Director of Finance
Maximilian Kelley is a student in the MS Finance program. Max was raised in Naples, Florida and attended Naples High School where he was a two-sport athlete and a member of the National Honor Society. Max went on to attend the University of Florida for his undergraduate career. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. After Daniels, Max hopes to pursue a career in corporate finance and eventually one day, become a successful entrepreneur. Max’s entrepreneurial spirit and finance background makes him a great fit for the Daniels Consulting Firm team. Apart from school, Max’s interests lie in Colorado’s magnificent Rocky Mountains. On the weekends he enjoys snowboarding, fishing, and hiking with his dog.
Paul Seaborn joined the Daniels College of Business in 2011 as an assistant professor. Prior to joining the Department of Management, he worked in strategy consulting for four years for Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, he worked for IBM Global Services for four years in IT consulting and web development. Seaborn received his PhD in strategic management from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto in 2011. He is originally from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada.
